Academic leave is granted, for specific duly justified reasons, to the student to allow them to suspend their studies for one academic year. The year corresponding to the academic leave is counted as a BLANK YEAR for the student. It is not counted as REPEATING A YEAR. Academic leave may not be granted more than once during the university course.

File for collecting a provisional certificate of success in Undergraduate Bachelor's – Master's – D.E.S
- A) 1 birth certificate extract No. 12 dated in the current calendar year
- B) 1 photocopy of the student card
- C) 1 certified photocopy of the national identity card
- D) 1 certified photocopy of the Baccalaureate
- E) 1 certified photocopy of the Bachelor's degree (for the Master's diploma)
- F) 1 information sheet duly completed by the student
- G) 2 stamped envelopes addressed to the student (use postage stamps, not fiscal stamps)
- H) 2 identity photos
- I) Original transcripts for all years of study since the first enrolment at the University.
Example: for a Baccalaureate of June 2008 and a Bachelor's degree obtained in June 2013, the transcripts required in the file are: 2008-2009; 2009-2010; 2010-2011; 2011-2012; 2012-2013.
For the Master's diploma, the transcripts required are those of the two years of the Master's.
- J) Student card (original)
- K) Clearance certificate from the central library dated in the current calendar year
- L) Clearance certificate from the Department library dated in the current calendar year
- M) Clearance certificate from the National Office of University Services (ONOU)
- N) Clearance certificate for the legal deposit of university work (for the Master's)
IMPORTANT REMARKS:
- 1: The original of the academic leave decision replaces a transcript.
- 2: Items E), I), N) do not apply to the D.E.S diploma.
- 3: Item I) is required for the Master's diploma if the Bachelor's degree was obtained at a university institution other than UC1.
- 4: Any incomplete file is inadmissible.
