Dean's Message

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Message from the Dean

Dear students, colleagues and partners,

I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Faculty of Exact Sciences of the Université Frères Mentouri Constantine 1. It is meant to be a space for information, service and dialogue for the whole university community.

The Faculty is fully aligned with the guidelines of the University and of the higher education and scientific research sector. Our policy rests on one conviction: chemistry, physics and mathematics are essential levers of knowledge, innovation and national development.

Our priorities are the following:

  • Towards a University 4.0: digitalisation of services and procedures, online teaching platforms, simplified access to information and continuous modernisation of our teaching and administrative tools.
  • Quality education: permanent updating of our Bachelor's and Master's programmes, in line with socio-economic needs and the career prospects of our graduates.
  • Applied and useful research: support for our laboratories and research units, valorisation of results and closer links with companies and economic players.
  • Economic development and entrepreneurship: encouraging initiative, the creation of innovative projects and start-ups, and supporting our students and doctoral candidates in their professional integration.
  • Sustainable development goals: placing our teaching and research within the challenges of the environment, energy, health and the materials of tomorrow.
  • Internationalisation: developing partnerships, the mobility of students and teacher-researchers, and the Faculty's participation in international scientific networks.

These ambitions can only be achieved with the commitment of everyone: teachers, researchers, administrative and technical staff, and students. I invite you to take an active part in the life of the Faculty and to share your suggestions with us.

I wish you all an academic year full of success.

The Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences
