For years, the Institute of Nutrition, Food, and Agri-Food Technologies (INATAA) at the University of Constantine 1, Frères Mentouri, has adopted its own vision for the celebration of World Food Day by bringing together, through exchange and sharing meetings, the actors and professionals involved in food. The success and positive feedback from previous editions of the International Food Sciences Seminar (SISA), along with the participation of more than 500 national and international speakers (lecturers, researchers, teachers, students, industry exhibitors, etc.), have encouraged us to organize a new edition of these scientific meetings, the "INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF FOOD SCIENCES," with the main theme: "SUSTAINABLE FOOD SECURITY: INNOVATIONS AND CHALLENGES."
INATAA of UC1, with its scientific potential, is pleased to announce the holding of CISA 2024 in Constantine (INATAA-UFMC1 site) on October 16 and 17, 2024.
Several themes will be discussed during these days to:
• Contribute to scientific research on food and nutrition
• Encourage the adoption of healthy and sustainable eating habits
• Protect and enhance the value of traditional Algerian food heritage
• Promote innovation in biotechnology and the agri-food industry
• Evaluate the main food sectors
