Pr. Abdullah Al-Sadi is a Professor of plant pathology and the Dean of College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences at the Sultan Qaboos University (Oman). Dr. Louis Deharveng is a CNRS researcher emeritus at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris. His fields of interests are: Taxonomy, Biogeography and Ecology of springtails, and Biodiversity of cave arthropods. His research is mainly conducted on the cryptic diversity of species revealed by the barcode, and in the Ecology of springtail assemblages along ecological gradients of humidity and altitude. His zones of investigation included different regions of the world, particularly in France, Southeast Asia, Algeria and South Africa.
Said EL SALAMOUNY is a Professor of Insect Virology, at the Department of Economic Entomology and Pesticides, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University. He conducts research in the area of using baculoviruses as biocontrol agents against the agricultural insect pests. He was able to get several fellowships financed by DAAD to conduct research at the Insitute for Biological Control (JKI) in Germany . He got the Fulbright grant to conduct research at Clemson University in the US and mobility grants financed by Erasmus in Spain. He published more than 45 scientific papers and other scientific manuscripts..
Dr. Max Kasparek is a PhD. biologist, an editor in chief at Zoology in the Middle East journal and a former consultant of natural resources management. His fields of interest include Evolutionary Ecology, Biodiversity monitoring, Conservation, and Species Taxonomy...etc. Dr. Kasparek published approximately 198 publications, including 17 books and monographies, on various aspects, mainly on Bee Biodiversity, Entomology, Zoology, Ecology, Ecotourism, etc.
Pr. MASSA Bruno is a full professor of General and Applied Entomology, retired since 2018. His fields of interests are: Entomology and ornithology. He mainly studies insectivorous birds in forest habitats and pelagic birds, taxonomy and ecology of Orthoptera, and Arthropods as trophic reserve for insectivorous birds… etc. He Published more than 500 papers and some popular books in the field
• Pr. PETIT Daniel is a former professor Emeritus at Limoges University, France and current reviewer in more than 27 peer reviewed journals. He supervised and co-supervised 12 PhD Theses in France, Algeria and Morocco. His studies mainly focuse on Evolutionary Ecology, Molecular Biology, Bioecology and species from Orthopetra order. He published more than 100 papers, books and scientific manuscripts in the field.
Pr. VIEJO MONTESINOS José Luis is a full professor of Zoology at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain. His fields of interests are: Ecology and Taxonomy of insects, Agricultural Entomology, and Biodiversity Monitoring… etc. His research was mainly conducted Ecology and conservation of Iberic lepidoptera species. He published more than 200 papers and books and many other scientific works in the field.
Dr. Mohamad Shebl is a Ph.D. of Entomology, and an assistant Professor at Suez Canal University, Egypt. Dr. Shebl is interested in all research aspects of Bees including Taxonomy, Biology, Ecology, Conservation, Pest management, behavior Ecology and Pollination. Some of his research expeditions were conducted at different countries (Egypt, Japan, China, Saudi Arabia and Hungary), and published more than 71 scientific manuscripts
Dr. Muhammad Shafiq Shahid holds the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Plant Sciences within the College of Agricultural and Marine Sciences at Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman. With an illustrious career spanning across various continents, Dr. Shahid has accumulated a wealth of experience and expertise. He previously served as a researcher at the University of Arizona in Tucson, USA, and Research Professor in Tokyo University of Agriculture, Japan. During his tenure in Japan, he extensively studied different tomato accessions for their potential fruit production under various disease stresses. Additionally, he contributed significantly to sustainable fruit production research during his time at the University of Arkansas, USA. His scholarly pursuits primarily revolve around epidemiology and population structure of plant viruses, insect vector (Bemisia tabaci), pathogen-host interaction, and the utilization of nanotechnology in plant pathogen management. His scholarly output is equally impressive, with numerous publications in ISI-indexed journals boasting a cumulative impact factor exceeding 170. Additionally, Dr. Shahid has authored several book chapters and served as an editor for a book. Dr. Shahid's academic contributions extend beyond his roles in academia. He has been actively involved in numerous scientific societies, served as a reviewer for several prestigious scientific journals, and held the position of Guest Associate Editor for the Frontiers in Microbiology Journal. .
