The First International Seminar On Arthropod Biodiversity

Biodiversity is the core pillar of our planet, providing a multitude of ecosystem services essential to our well-being. Among the most diverse groups of fauna, arthropods hold a prominent place. Arthropods are composed of a wide range of invertebrates, including insects, arachnids, crustaceans, and myriapods. Their evolutionary success lies in their adaptability to a broad variety of habitats and their ability to occupy diverse ecological niches. They are thus valuable indicators of ecosystem health. In addition, arthropods play a fundamental role in maintaining ecological balance, participating in processes such as plant pollination, organic matter decomposition, and the regulation of other populations. This International Seminar on Arthropod Biodiversity will be an event focused on exploring and promoting scientific and technological advances regarding this diverse and vital group of animals. It aims to be a forum for interdisciplinary exchanges, encouraging international collaboration and innovation to meet the challenges and seize the opportunities offered by arthropods in a constantly evolving world.

Arthropod Biodiversity

This international seminar on Arthropod Biodiversity aims to gather scientists, researchers, and experts in that field in order to share their knowledge, discoveries, and experiences. By exploring the classification, ecology, biology, and interactions of arthropods around the world, we hope to stimulate research, raise awareness, and encourage concrete actions for their preservation. We strongly believe that this seminar will provide a prolific platform for exchange and act as a catalyst to initiate collaborations between the various parties to be involved, including research institutions, government agencies, conservation organizations, and civil society. Together, we can better understand and assess arthropods biodiversity and strive toward its conservation for the future generations.
