Description
The “Tourism and Heritage Development” Master’s is a specialty that includes: An M1 during which a general tourist issue dealing with history, actors, socioeconomic issues and tourism development is studied A M2 organized around a more targeted and more specialized training in the field of heritage management (in all its aspects), its conservation, its enhancement as well as its insertion in the tourist development The aim of the master's is to train executives capable of initiating and supporting tourism development initiatives and the enhancement of sites, and offers coherent training around the notion of tourism and heritage which will make it possible to train specialists in tourism engineering, capable of piloting projects, drawing up and managing a strategic development plan in the tourism and leisure industry.

Employability in this field is very broad, holders of the “Tourist Development and Heritage” master’s degree will be able to progress to positions in different organizations and institutions such as: Professions relating to tourism and heritage within local authorities Ministerial departments (Ministry of Tourism and Crafts, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Regional Planning and the Environment, Ministry of Housing, etc.) The different departments of Wilaya (Tourism, culture, environment, planning and land use planning, urban planning) Travel agencies and tourist offices Companies and design offices active in the design of tourism projects, in the engineering of cultural projects or in the design of heritage enhancement projects
